My commitment is to help you make a compassionate transition for yourselves and your children. It is possible to build a bridge from loss, to healing and growth.

Believing that families who go through divorce do not have to become “broken families,” I offer support as you cope with the emotional distress of loss and readjustment, and provide tools to strengthen your skills of communication, conflict resolution and problem solving. I can help you to parent collaboratively and to create a parenting plan that will safeguard the parent/child relationship and reflect your mutual commitment to the welfare of your children.

As a psychotherapist, family life educator and divorce coach, I’ve practiced and taught in the South Bay since 1982. My commitment to helping couples and families create and sustain positive connections in their relationships has been a natural pathway to the collaborative process. I am a Certified Parent Effectiveness Trainer, a regular presenter in the P.A.C.T. Program (Parents and Children Together) in the Los Angeles Superior Family Court in Torrance, and a Certified Facilitator for the Sandcastles Workshops for Parents and Children.

I am a board member of LACFLA, Los Angeles Collaborative Family Law Association.
